WHAT IS A SERVICE BOX
These are facilities established to reduce the existing pressure in the Steel and/or Polyethylene (PE) main distribution network to the required pressure.
The incoming line of service boxes is Polyethylene (PE), and the pressure it carries is 1-4 bar. The pressure on the outlet side of the service boxes is installed in two different values, namely 21 mbar or 300 mbar. The outlet pressure of the service box depends on variables such as the type of gas needed, gas flow, and gas pressure.
Outlet flows vary depending on the type and number of pressure reducing regulators in the service box. The type and number of service regulators are determined by the relevant gas distribution company according to the company's request in line with the approved project.
In addition, service boxes are classified into types such as S 2200, S 200, S 300, CES 200, etc., according to the physical conditions of the location where they will be installed (Wall-mounted service box, floor-mounted service box), the required gas flow, and pressure.
